The Buttered Biscuit

It is self seating so when we first got there we checked in and the host told us to go upstairs. It was a very large area lots of seating to choose from. The waitress was so nice!! She had such good vibes. It was our first time there and she explained everything so nicely. They give you the free cornbread with butter which was so so delicious. I got the chicken little. My boyfriend got the grandpas chicken fried steak. Pictures attached! Both very good. One of my favorite part was the caramel iced coffee it was delicious! I didn't finish it and she gave me a to go cup :) The only downside was we had to wait a while for our food. Maybe about 40 mins or so. But it's okay the waitress kept us updated and was telling us they are running a bit behind in the kitchen so we appreciated the update we didn't mind waiting. Overall we would definitely come here again. Good food big portions we definitely had leftovers.

Love going here staff is always nice and the food is great. Big servings. We love the cheesecake French toast

This place is amazing it was really busy but they let us sit at the bar Tom gave us the best service!!!! This is the best breakfast we have had in a long time and we appreciate all of you working so hard to please all of us!!!! 5 stars guys!!!!

If you're looking for a hearty, satisfying breakfast or brunch spot in Sumner, The Buttered Biscuit is a must-visit. My husband and I go frequently, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, and the portion sizes are incredibly generous--definitely worth the price. On our latest visit, we shared The Kim Kardashian, an eggs Benedict served on cornbread, and it was fantastic. The cornbread added a slightly sweet, crumbly texture that paired perfectly with the eggs and hollandaise. I also had the Chicken & Waffle Bacon Wrap, which was absolutely delicious. I don't know how they manage to wrap everything together so perfectly while keeping the eggs inside so fluffy, but it's seriously impressive. One of the best things about The Buttered Biscuit is that their food holds up well as leftovers--we always end up taking some home, and it lasts for a day or two. Definitely go hungry, but don't underestimate the portion sizes! They have a really nice staff and it seems like they always have somebody to come by and fill your coffee up or give you a refill on your mimosa or water so that's helpful. They also recently did a refresh on the interior and it makes it have like this tropical tiki kind of vibe, which is so cute. Also, you can pick which kind of side do you want in terms of potatoes if yours comes with potatoes, such as spuds with or without onion/peppers, tater tots, or hashbrowns! For someone who grew up in Virginia and loves Southern food, this place is a gem. It's comforting, flavorful, and reminds me of home. If you're in the area and craving a true comfort meal, this is the place to be!

Just the place we have been looking for. Quick and friendly attention, immediate drink service, including whipped butter frosted cornbread, which really made my wife happy. Honestly the best and largest omelette I have ever seen, full of delicious meat, and such generous portions we took home plenty for later, at least my wife did since I managed to finish off mine! Tom was such a fun waiter, and we really look forward to making this our "go-to" weekend breakfast spot!!! Thank God since we really needed this in our area!

Food was great! Big ol portions! Was not disappointed. Meals come with corn bread with a big dallop of butter. We tried a variety of things and everything was great! Service was good. It was crowded but our server did well to manage all the customers and us. Ambiance was down to earth easy eats type of atmosphere. Def would come here again!

Awesome food and cooked to perfection as this place never disappoints. The Beef Gravy on the SOS and Train Wreck or on a flip flop is amazing. And I am someone who loves Sausage Gravy. The Cornbread is huge as are the biscuits and make the meal. Service is excellent and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and never rushed.
